Hello readers. Today we're excited to have Detective Cody Pring from Spirited Away by Mary Billiter in the Hot Seat for #ColorofLove2017 celebration.
You're welcome to our blog, Detective Cody. Thank you for hanging out with us today. We look forward to delving into your mind and finding out more about you. So let's get started.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A
lazy Sunday with my dog, Murray, and my girlfriend, Reece.
What is your current state of mind?
Happy. I found a fiery redhead who helped solve a decades-old cold case and we
were able to put someone really evil where they belonged.
What is your most treasured possession?
My
relationship with my partner, Tim Dixon. We’ve been working cases together for
so long we know each other’s thoughts which is really great in our line of
police work.
What or who is the greatest love of your
life?
I
think that would be my sister Sheridan, or as I call her, “Peach.” She’s
the greatest love because it’s a protective love that I will never outgrow.
What is your greatest fear?
When
one of my cases impacts somebody I love or places them in jeopardy.
What is the quality you most like in a
man/woman?
Loyalty.
What attracted me to Reece was her fierce loyalty to her staff and her hotel.
She’s fiercely protective of them and what happens to them and I find that
level of loyalty doesn’t really exist anymore.
What is the trait you most deplore in
others?
Evil.
It’s something you can’t really describe but when you see it in someone then
you know their ability to harm others runs deep.
On what occasions do you lie?
When
I’m presented with a situation that is life-threatening to me or my partner,
Dixon, I will say what’s necessary to keep us from imminent harm.
Which is your favorite word or phrase?
Shut.
The. Fuck. Up.
If you could change one thing about
yourself, what would it be?
My
green eyes because it is a reminder of the man who left my mother after I was
conceived.
