In the #HotSeat: Naaki from Chancing Faith by Empi Baryeh @empibaryeh #ColorofLoveHop #IRRomance

Hello readers. Today we're excited to have Naaki Thabika from Chancing Faith by Empi Baryeh in the Hot Seat for #ColorofLove2017 celebration.

You're welcome to our blog, Naaki. Thank you for hanging out with us today. We look forward to delving into your mind and finding out more about you. So let's get started.

ABOUT NAAKI
I’m Naaki Faith Tabika. Twenty-four years old. I have big dreams of becoming a big shot in the advertising industry in Ghana. I’ve recently applied for an internship with THE ad agency in Ghana. I’m not looking for a relationship, especially not with another domineering male who thinks I’m nothing but wife and mother material.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Perfect happiness is having a nicely brewed cup of lemongrass tea and reading a good book.
What is your current state of mind?
I’m anxious. I went for an interview at my dream company and told a man off for being rude. It turns out he was the boss, so I think I blew it.
What is your most treasured possession?
My old and faithful VW beetle. I earned it from working holiday jobs for my father.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
I recently got out of a relationship. I’m not looking for love
 What is your greatest fear?
That I’ll find out my ideas aren’t as great as I think they are and I don’t have what it takes to make it in the corporate world
What is the quality you most like in a man/woman?
I’m attracted to confident men, who aren’t afraid to support their woman
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Cheating. I believe in fairness
On what occasions do you lie?
There’s never a good occasion to lie. Although I have to admit I may be a little too honest at times.
Which is your favorite word or phrase?
Yes, I can. It sounds cliché, I know.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d want to be more discrete about when to offer my opinion. Remember what I said about being a  little too honest? It may have cost me my dream job.

Thank you for Empi for indulging u. Find out more about Naaki and Thane in Chancing Faith. Here are the details.

He didn’t do short term relationships…
American ad exec, Thane Aleksander, doesn’t date co-workers either—until business takes him to Ghana, West Africa, and he meets Naaki. Now he’s at risk of breaking all the rules. Can he stop this headlong fall before it’s too late?

Until he met her!
Naaki Tabika has a burning need to prove, to herself and to others, that she’s more than wife and mother material. To do so, she’s prepared to give up everything for her job. Meeting Thane, however, makes her want to get personal. But falling for her boss could destroy her career. Will she be willing to risk it all for the one thing that can make her truly happy?

Two divergent cultures, two different races, two career-driven professionals, only one chance at true love—will they find the faith to take it, or will their hearts be sacrificed on the altar of financial success?
