This week I'm reading Stately Pleasures by Lucy Felthouse.
Here's the Opening Paragraph:
Alice took a deep breath, in through her nose and out
through her mouth. Repeated the process once more. Then, realising she could
sit there all day doing it and not feel any calmer, she forced herself to step
out of the car and close and lock the door.
Here's the teaser:
Alice
knew that voice could only belong to Jeremy Davenport. The posh accent, and the
fact he’d said “enter” instead of “come in”, screamed money and an upper-class
upbringing.

Thank you for stopping by. Leave me a comment and I'll return the visit shortly.
He definitely sounds upper-class! And I wonder why Alice is freaking out! The cover really reminds me of Fifty Shades though! Thanks for stopping by :) I hope you have a great week!
