In the #HotSeat: Nnamdi from Starting Over Again by Amaka Azie | #AARomance @AmakaAzie #ColorofLoveHop #Giveaway

Hello, readers. Today we're excited to have Nnamdi Obi from Starting Over Again by Amaka Azie in the Hot Seat for the #ColorofLoveHop celebrations.

Welcome to the blog, Nnamdi. Thank you for hanging out with us. We look forward to delving into your mind and finding out more about you. Let's get started.

I am Nnamdi Obi, the main male character in “Starting Over Again” by Amaka Azie
I am the CEO of Zenith mortgage and Investments bank in Lagos, Nigeria. I am one of three children born to Chief Offor Obi, and I am a twin. I have a five year old daughter who is the most precious little angel ever.

LBAS: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Nnamdi: Relaxing  in my beach home in Mauritius and sipping wine

LBAS: What is your current state of mind?
Nnamdi: I’m considering going into politics. I want to make a positive change in Nigeria. I’m just a bit wary of the arduous process involved.

LBAS: What is your most treasured possession?
Nnamdi: My beach home in Mauritius

LBAS: What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Nnamdi: Onome, of course! She brought light into my gloomy life.

LBAS: What is your greatest fear?
Nnamdi: Losing my family

LBAS: What is the quality you most like in a man/woman?
Nnamdi: I love a woman who is confident

LBAS: What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Nnamdi: Dishonesty.

LBAS: On what occasions do you lie?
Nnamdi: Only when I have pinched someone else’s snack. I mean, who leaves snacks in the fridge and expects it to be there when they get back?...huh?

LBAS: Which is your favorite word or phrase?
Nnamdi: Shit!...I curse a lot…bloop

LBAS: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Nnamdi: The quality time I lost with my late mother because I misunderstood her. I can never get that back and I regret it.

Nnamdi is hilarious, don't you think. 😃Thank you to Amaka for indulging us.

Find out more about Nnamdi and Onome in Starting Over Again. Here are the details.

Abandoned by her husband and left to care for a sick child, Onome is desperate to find a job. After several failed attempts, she eventually lands a job at one of the most prestigious banks in Lagos. She is finally rebuilding her life after her divorce and everything seems to be falling into place. However, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to her new boss, Nnamdi, who is also notoriously known for his womanising ways. Desperate to fight this attraction, she struggles to keep him at arm’s length. She can’t afford to let her growing attraction to him jeopardise her job, and most importantly, her heart…

Scorched by the burden of a scandalous family secret he stumbled upon when he was a young boy, single father Nnamdi, finds it hard to trust women. He has always lived his life lightly, with his relationships free from deep emotions and entanglements. To protect himself from hurt, he has built a wall around his heart. But there is something about his new executive marketing assistant, Onome, that makes him consider a future with her. The more time he spends with her and her daughter, Fejiro, the more the wall around his heart crumbles. And just as he is beginning to warm up to the idea of forever, her ex-husband resurfaces…
