Vera Roberts was born and raised in Palm Springs, California. She began her writing career on the popular fanfiction.net site before she created her blog, The Intoxication of Vera Roberts. She has been previously published with the popular erotica website, Oysters and Chocolate, and was a 2010 Literary Finalist for the Seattle Erotic Art Festival. She currently lives in Los Angeles with husband, Maks, and kitten, Sushi.

A lover of books, as a teenager Kiru Taye used to read novels under the blanket during lights-outs in boarding school. These days, with a young family to take care of, she's still sacrificing sleep for the pleasures of a good book.
