Maya's Review
What happens when you're in love with a man who seems to have no clue about your feelings and yet another man who has been there for you over the years is head over heels in love with you and you don't get it.
At first glance this story seems to be a sequence of unrequited loves. Aly is in love with her boss, Paul and has been for a long time. Her feelings for him, though unrequited at first, blinds her to the fact that her best friend Ethan actually has a thing for her. Just when she's ready to give up, Paul starts showing an interest in her and hey presto you have a love triangle.

This story has potential and I liked the premise. I understood Aly's dilemma. Sometimes we can become so wrapped up in our infatuations it becomes difficult to tell what is real and what isn't and who is right or wrong for us. Who does she choose in the end? Well, you'll have to read it to find out.
The characters felt real and believable. However, I would've preferred a crisp storytelling. It dragged in some places and some scenes would've benefited from an editor's cut.
All in all, this is a great first book for a new author and I would certainly read more from her. If you enjoy contemporary romance with love triangles, go and pick up a copy.
