No sex for almost a year could kill a guy, but when you’re the boxer known as the Juggernaut, it’s the price you pay for turning pro. Tommy’s fully dedicated to his craft, until he meets the incredibly gorgeous Dr. Siena Carr. Now he’s looking forward to taking on this prim and proper lady in a wet and wild work-out…
Knock Out
Siena has seen many patients come through the ER, but none as sexy as Tommy Raines. With a nasty cut over his eye, she knows he needs stitches, but after he takes off his shirt, she needs some air. With rock-hard abs and taut biceps, it’s clear this man takes care of his body. And all Siena can think about is letting him take care of hers…
Maya's Review
This is quite an interesting take on the boxer genre contemporary romance. Siena is an ER doctor recovering from a recent relationship split with another doctor and Tommy is an amateur boxer on the verge of going pro who walks into her ER with nasty cut in the head that needed stitching. These two seem like opposites but as they say "Opposites attract" and there's certainly chemistry between Tommy and Siena. But do they have enough in common outside of the sexual attraction to build and sustain a solid relationship? That's the crux of the story.
I have to say this story had a slow start for me and I struggled to connect with Siena. I found her prickly and distant. I did warm to her eventually. On the other hand, I loved Tommy right from the start. I loved his patience and perseverance. Showed why he was so good at his sports. He holds the story up for me.
This is an easy read and if you like 'opposites attract' story lines then this will work well for you. Pick up a copy and make up your own mind.
